SkyCaddie SG5 review

SkyCaddie SG5 review

SkyCaddie SG5 Golf GPS (Black)

I was an early adopter of them (the first at the USGA and R & make them legally) and have their original SkyCaddie. Then it was a technological revolution, and I benefited. (And my) course, and last year I started my quest to find the latest golf GPS. Of course the first place to look is the SkyCaddie SG5 is the color of their reception, GPS, better, bigger display ... but nothing really new in terms of functionality. I think think they have a competitive market for them is the Finders, as I was starting to get tired of the limitations of them as I only load 10 courses at customer service. (Or not) and had a year of them.

However, as they sat in the back and these products have evolved and the other competitors to come in this room, all the GPS that features the next generation, I watched the golf UPRO. (Now owned by Callaway), as cold as what you see on TV flyby. However, the observations of others who share many of the problems of display and a battery of them. So my search continues. Then I watched the OnPar golf, it seems that my iPhone has a touch screen similar to the user interface and icons for use with the iPhone, but not for golf GPS. Then I looked at the Bushnell Pro XCG yards,

I think this is. It has everything I want, without major problems mentioned by other users / reviewers. One of my friends and I bought a hands-on course. I was actually just one click away from owning it (from Amazon, of course). The last, and I decided to Google ... and then I found a unit of Garmin G5 Yup, they are more expensive GPS units from Garmin, a GPS, I was very happy with their Nuvi units. They also offer 9,400 + GPS, and are free.

No annual subscription! You can download the program from their website and can be loaded during the program so as not to tear down my car. Best of all, it's waterproof! Unlike the SkyCaddie, you are limited to the target. 40 - on each hole. (I usually only see a handful), you simply drag a circle with his finger on the birds-eye-view. It will tell you if you are a long way to go. It also allows up to 4 points and you can download to your computer later. I also like that you can use rechargeable batteries instead. I lost count of the times I forget to charge your SkyCaddie, and when my friend called me last minute that I could not use everything. Now I just have to keep a spare battery in your pocket.

The bottom line is that before considering the forms SkyCaddie and other areas of research before you plunk down your hard earned money of the GPS. I'm sure you'll find one that has many features at a similar price if you are interested in Garmin G5 with tons of videos on YouTube, so check them out! If money is not an option, then definitely go with the Garmin Approach G5, or XCG Bushnell Pro is the best solution for your garden.

Also, for those who 3G/3GS iPhone has quite a few applications that you can use to make your iPhone's GPS is a golf course that I tinker with Golfshot (version $ 29.99. Do not worry. Approximately 99 percent generation), and I must say it is a damn good app, it is also a report so you know which part of your game that you should work, but I stick with the Garmin G5 do not. Golfshot runs out of battery on my iPhone and my iPhone is not a wild, rugged and waterproof, so I use one as my backup. GPS course, but not as my main.
